Description:
The Total Wall Care® Professional Brick Repair Kit contains 400ml pots of all 16 colours of Total Wall Care Brick Repair Mortar along with a 300ml pot of Soot Wash brick tint and a 300ml pot of Lime Wash tint. The kit also contains the extremely useful Colour Matching Sample Box.
The kit enables the user to carry out small repairs to damaged brickwork either using the colours as they are or by mixing different colours of repair mortar to match the existing brick. The Soot Wash and Lime Wash allow for the replication of weathering, ageing, carbonation and efflorescence.
The kit also enables the trade professional to carry out sample “test panel” repairs on behalf of their clients. Once the desired colour and finish has been accepted by the client, additional quantities of the individual colours of product can be ordered as required.
Brick Repair Mortar
The, lime-based brick repair mortar is ready to use once mixed with water. The mortar is extremely workable enabling the recreation of contours and profiles as well as surface textures.
Soot Wash and Lime Wash
Total Wall Care Colour Matching Tints enable both the competent DIYer and trade professional to carry out permanent brick tinting without changing the physical properties, texture or character of the original material.
The “shake to use” solution which can be diluted to a maximum ratio of 1 part tint to 2 parts water, stains the brick to form a permanent, inseparable, vapour permeable bond which allows the brick to breathe and will not flake like paint. It can also be used on porous natural stone, concrete and mortar bed joints.
